FamilyPantree
Private by default

Your family's recipes, in one private cookbook — and in your grocery cart by dinner.

Keep the recipes you actually cook, including the handwritten ones nobody has typed up. Share a shelf with your people. Pick what you're cooking and FamilyPantree fills a cart at your store, minus what's already in your pantry.

Or just get your shopping list together quickly

Not near a Kroger store, or shopping somewhere that isn't online? Take the list as it is — grouped by aisle, with your pantry already subtracted.

Store names set as type until we have written permission to use the banner logos. FamilyPantree is not affiliated with these stores.

Private by default

Every recipe you add is yours alone until you choose a group. Nothing is indexed, nothing is public, and no one browses your cookbook.

Share with your people

Make a group for each circle — one family, the in-laws, the friends who actually cook. Moderators control who gets in.

Shopping that already knows

Pick the recipes, set who you're feeding, and we build one list at your store — minus what your pantry already has.

Groups are how a recipe leaves one kitchen

Make a group for the people you actually trade recipes with. Every recipe you add stays private until you share it to a group — nothing is public, ever. Each group has a moderator who invites people and decides whether members can invite too.

  • One moderator per group, who invites people and can pass the role on.
  • Moderators decide whether members can invite anyone else.
  • Sharing a recipe to a group never shares the rest of your cookbook.

How it works

  1. 01

    Add your recipes

Photograph the handwritten card, paste a link, or paste the text someone sent you.

  2. 02

    Set up your household

How many you cook for, your stores, your staples. Everything else follows from that.

  3. 03

    Share to a group

Family, in-laws, friends. Save theirs into your own cookbook with one tap.

  4. 04

    Cook and shop

Pick recipes, get one list, check out at your store, cook in step mode.

Start with the recipe nobody has written down yet.
